Conveniently located just northeast of downtown Tampa, Ybor City is the only neighborhood on Florida’s west coast to be designated a National Historic Landmark District. Founded by Vicente Martinez-Ybor, the district has enjoyed a rich and diverse culture for more than a century.

Many restaurants in Ybor City feature Cuban, Italian, and Spanish dishes. This is a reflection of the area’s rich and colorful history. First settled in the mid-1800s, the original residents were workers in Tampa’s cigar factories. These families have shaped the cultural fabric of this vibrant and diverse neighborhood since its beginnings.
