Nashville’s supersized stadium concert summer just got quite a bit smaller.
Organizers announced Friday that Justin Bieber’s previously announced July 11 tour stop at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium has now been moved to Bridgestone Arena, due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Similar moves — also citing “unforeseen circumstances” — were made today with Bieber’s concerts in Cleveland, Columbus and Dallas. Those who have already purchased tickets will receive an email about their new seats.
In terms of audience size (and potential ticket sales), there’s a massive gap between the two venues. Nissan Stadium’s record concert attendance is roughly 56,000, while Bridgestone Arena’s record sits at 19,000.
For now, Nissan Stadium still has three non-CMA Fest concerts slated this summer: The Rolling Stones on May 20, Kenny Chesney on June 27 and Motley Crue/Def Leppard on June 29.
