‘Perfect example of love thy neighbor’: Fayette County native living in Nashville helping with tornado cleanup

A Connellsville, Fayette County, native who is now living in Nashville shared a video of the cleanup he is a part of after a tornado left a path of destruction in Tennessee. Alex Tinker is a musician who loves his hometown band The Clarks, but he also loves helping and being there for his neighbors. Tinker took a moment to reflect on a tragedy that happened here in Pittsburgh. “When the synagogue shooting happened, you really saw Pittsburgh rally together. And not just one race, we came together, and it was the perfect example of love thy neighbor.”Tinker said what he’s seen in the Nashville cleanup is “also the true definition of why they call it the Volunteer State.”Twenty four people were killed by the tornadoes statewide.
